Purple Water Lilies—known as Nymphaea after water nymphs of Greek mythology—lift my spirits as they ripple on the surface of the pond. Like the shiny, dark-green leaves that surround them, these lilies embrace and nurture my spirits. They lift my gaze to the sky.
