SUMMER SERENADE

The Creative Challenge this week was to paint roses - not always easy in watercolor. With oils and acrylics you can add highlights with white paint to the petals after you have the darks in - with watercolor you have to think backwards and paint the lights first and then come in with the darks around the petals to add shape to the flower.
