"The Rose Symphony" Original abstract rose watercolor by Janice Trane Jones 6 x 8

"The Rose Symphony" is an original watercolor painting on 300 lb cold pressed paper and high grade pigments. The painting measures 6 x 8 unframed but the purchase includes a 9 x 12 white mat. I flatten out all my watercolors and put them in their mats so the buyer does not have to do the work. All you have to do is pick out a frame and put it in the frame upon arrival.

Purple Poppy, Watercolor plein air by Rhoda Sterling

This unusual poppy from India graces many of the large flower pots at the Botanic Garden this spring. The color, shape and texture gripped me as soon as I saw it.

Columbine #3 by Rhoda Sterling

Columbine comes from "dove" for it's 5-sided petals like 5 doves clustered. As a genus the flower was named after "eagle." It's no wonder the high country of Colorado should adopt such a beauty for it's state flower.
Watercolor • 8 x 10 • $135

SOLD Lilies in Transition Original abstract/contemporary watercolor painting by Janice Trane Jones

SOLD This is an original watercolor on 300 lb cold pressed paper and high grade pigments. The painting measures 11 x 17 but the purchase includes a white 18 x 24 mat making this ready for a frame upon arrival. I always ship my watercolors flattened out and in their mat so the buyer does not have to do the work.

The daylilies are just starting to bloom and they are showy and fun. The colors seem more vivid and deep then in past years. The other flowers peer through the long slender leaves and are good companions. To purchase or view other paintings go to www.janicetranejones.com or janicetranejones@aol.com.
